Our Mission

Connecting to God / Connecting to People

(Why do we exist?)

As God directed us to love Him and others, our mission is to make disciples of all within our reach. From a relationship (our connection) with God, we build a bridge to people by building relationship (connection) to people. This bridge connects God and us to people.

Our Vision

God Worshipped / Faith Lived / Lives Changed

(What do we do?)

The foundation in Connecting to God is through living our life as worship to God. This connects us to God and leads us to live out our faith. Faith lived leads us to connect to people, resulting in Lives Changed (both ours and theirs). By letting our life be worship to God, we grow to live out our faith to one another, leading us and one another toward Godly life-change.

We believe…

…in one God, who exists in three Persons – the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. He is loving, holy, and just.

…that the Bible is God’s inspired Word. It is accurate and complete and guides us in all manner of living.

…that sin has separated us all from God, and we are reconciled to God only through Jesus Christ.

…that Jesus Christ is both God and Man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He led a sinless life, took all our sins upon Himself, died, and rose again. Today, He is seated at the right hand of the Father as our High Priest and Mediator.

…that salvation is the gift of God to man. Through faith in Jesus Christ, the grace of God is manifested and produces works of righteousness that are pleasing to God.

…that water baptism is an outward act that demonstrates a believer’s identification with the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

…that the Holy Spirit is our comforter and is sent to convince us of our righteousness. He guides us in all areas of our lives. He also blesses us with spiritual gifts and empowers us to operate by His Spirit.

…that the Holy Communion is a celebration of Jesus’ death and our remembrance of Him.

…that God wants to transform, heal, and prosper us, so that we can live blessed and victorious lives that will impact and help others.

…that we are called to preach the gospel to all nations.

…that our Lord Jesus Christ is coming back again, just as He promised.

Core Values

Unity, Service & Growth

(How do we behave?)

As Christians, our core values (guiding principles) are derivatives of who we are in Christ Jesus, what we truly believe about Him and about us. They represent the things we will defend above all-else. Our beliefs determine what we value and what we value determines our behaviors. “Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.” (Romans 12:2 NLT)

1. Unity (together) – In relationship with God and with other believers we pursue our common objectives, setting aside any differences to attain ALL we are for, together. Since we seek and are guided by the same Holy Spirit we trust and depend upon each other to confirm His wisdom and direction.

2. Service (for others) – We are for others… always. We give them our attention and focus. We love and accept others regardless of behavior; giving encouragement, affirmation and always seeing them as God sees them, fully mature and developed.

3. Growth (developing) – We are always pressing to improve, to learn and develop together, hearing His voice through each other. We are transparent to let others see our flaws and weaknesses so they may challenge and empower us to maturity. And no matter how difficult, we share the truth in love with each other, caring enough about each other to not leave them the same.
